Val4Gareth
They've just said Gareth will reveal he's skating with a Cane and a Top Hat. Could be a Hollywood type routine, going by that They've now got a clip on the ITV website showing Gareth with his props :hyper: http://www.itv.com/Entertainment/reality/dancingonice/
Khelda
That was lovely, Gareth looked great and he said he is amazed how far he has come. Again he said that Chris and Susanne are fantastic and something to aspire too. His speech was a bit ropey, as he calls it, but he was fine. And he definitely has the cane and the hat. :frantics:
Val4Gareth
Gorgeous as ever Good job he didn't attempt that lift in the first week, or he may have packed it all in Loved the way he praised Chris and Suzanne again.
Floz
DOI is really taking its toll on his speech I thought. Quite poor this morning which is such a shame. However, I guess it can go back to being brilliant once its all over. Not the most interesting of props, but I'm sure they'll do a fine job. Yorksheather
Hat and cane should be OK as long as Gareth doesn't drop them

However, I guess it can go back to being brilliant once its all over. I felt quite sad for him with his speech. It was pretty bad and makes it so hard for him to be natural. Such a shame and such a disadvantage for him
VickyGates
Was a lovely little interview, but his speech wasn't the best - he looked quite uncomfortable in a way, kept glancing away when he didn't realise the camera was on him. Was looking gorgeous though, and can't wait to see this week's routine!
Val4Gareth
Fancy giving Gareth a hat he has to put on top of his hair
lilian
Going back to this missed lift. I am not sure if it was Gareth's fault or if it was Maria who chickened out. What does anybody else think?
Yorksheather
Suzanne has a chair as one of her props , she was doing a handstand on the chair when she cut Matt's face and gave him a black eye. I think Gareth may have a comic routine with his red hat

No, I don't think that. It looked like Gareth took too long to get hold of Maria properly and she knew they wouldn't have time to complete it and get into the right position for the next move. I didn't think it was Gareth's fault either. I'm really disappointed that Gareth has the hat, just hope he is given a routine thats an improvement on the last 2 years. Khelda
I would love it to be a fast paced comedy routine, with a brilliant upbeat well liked song. That would be great.
Val4Gareth
Wasn't the problem last year, that Emily (I think it was her), only kept putting the hat on and off her head and very little else. I'm sure Gareth will come up with something a bit more interesting than that.
Khelda
I dont think its Gareth who come up with anything, they get their routine from T&D, dont they?

Yes, but hopefully they'll think Gareth is capable of doing something a bit more interesting than Emily did last year
Khelda
I would like him to use a new song or newish one, not so keen on the old Hollywood stuff to be honest.
Maggiemags
DOI is really taking its toll on his speech I thought. Quite poor this morning which is such a shame. However, I guess it can go back to being brilliant once its all over. I thought the same as I watched the interview this evening and then I thought back to the days when Fern would interview him for This Morning, on her own in a closed studio with minimal crew and Gareth's speech coach in his eyeline and out of shot. To be thrown into the hubbub of a GMTV studio and cope with the normality that everyone else is faced with shows, to me, just how far he HAS come He's such a star  All things considered, I thought it was a nice clip And we have to remember that he 'doesn't do mornings' so that won't help.
Heather
I felt quite sad for him with his speech. It was pretty bad and makes it so hard for him to be natural. Such a shame and such a disadvantage for him  It wasn't that bad you know. He was hesitant, but he didn't stammer. It will make people realise just how hard he has to work each day with his exercises to achieve fluent speech, and it endears him to me even more for his guts in taking on something as time consuming as DOI.
