One of our moderators, Nicola (GarethsHotChick), a huge Gareth fan and a friend to many of us has sadly passed away. She never let her very serious problems get her down, or deter her from helping anyone she could. She will be very sadly missed. Yorksheather Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 I am really upset to hear of Nicola's sudden death , I knew her quite well , she was a lovely brave girl , who suffered much pain , but she was so cheerful and put up with what life had thrown at her , I'm really sad that she didn't get to meet Gareth , she was such an enormously good fan , but I'm glad Nicola did speak to Gareth over the phone . Anita ( Pepper ) is upset , as Nicola was a very good friend to her late daughter Tracie . She always had something kind and positive to say, regardless of her own problems. I remember when I wanted to give someone from here a Gareth keyring and Nichola sorted it all out for me and sent it in the post. She never wanted any acclaim. She was one of the first persons I spoke to when I joined these boards and she was just so sweet. She was always there for anyone who needed advice or just someone to talk to.
