Snowdrop
Thanks Khelda but I can click on one of two options - The express setting or the custom setting and neither seem to play anything?? It sounds as if it's trying to get you to install some software to play it. Do you have MediaPlayer installed?
eternal
It sounds as if it's trying to get you to install some software to play it. Do you have MediaPlayer installed? I thought I did. How do I check? I haven't had any trouble in the past listening to the links. Edits to say I have done it I clicked on Window Media Settings in my programmes and clicked Express Settings (which I did previously and nothing happened) but this time I clicked Finish and hey ho. I can now get the links. Thanks all for the help. Mark Frith I love you What lovely words from both him and Steve Wright. Off to bed with a beaming smile, now. Oh thanks to Maggiemags too. Khelda
Almost two years on from when he first appeared in the reality show to select a leading man for the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Lee hands his loin cloth to former Pop Idol star Gareth Gates on January 10. “I am pleased Gareth is taking over,” says Lee. “Having been with the show for so long you feel a sense of ownership, but it is definitely going to good hands.” Lee, 27, himself followed in the footsteps of Jason Donovan, Philip Schofield and Donny Osmond to take the title role in the show’s comeback, so he understands the pressure. It was seeing the touring production of the show at the Cliffs Pavilion, in Westcliff, as a youngster that sparked his acting ambition. Lee says: “I think whoever plays the part for whatever period feels like it is their baby for that time and you want it to go to a good home. Gareth is a great guy and my advice to him was to have a great time and enjoy it.” http://www.echo-news.co.uk/echofeatures/39..._jetting_to_LA/
Khelda
Talking of Joseph, I want to book tickets for opening night 9 Feb, just wondered if anyone else is also wanting to go on the first night?
Snowdrop
Those are lovely comments from Lee - and he's quite right too! Unfortunately, I can't make the opening night, but I think it will be an amazing atmosphere and it will be brill if fans can go.
eternal
The Daily Mail are doing "Our Best Ever Theatre Offer Is Back" offer A free London Hotel Room 3, 4 and 5* when buying a theatre ticket Details Here
Snowdrop
Wow, that's a really good deal. It's a shame it's only available Mondays to Thursdays, but could be perfect for anyone wanting to go to opening night, without dashing home afterwards. Khelda
Thanks Cavelle for telling us, that is really good value, for £30 membership a ticket up to £60 that year. Could come in very useful seeing a certain person is playing Joseph.
Snowdrop
Thank you for the link. That sounds very interesting. Khelda, at the minute Joseph isn't on the list of shows where you can get a free ticket. It might be one where you can get a discount ticket, but it doesn't say. Khelda
They do say for the year, so I think its best to wait until the new year.
Snowdrop
I think that's for a year, so for 12 months after you join. Not for the calendar year in which you join. That wouldn't make sense.
totallytheatre
Hi everyone, To clarify you'll get a years membership from the day you join the site. We offer Wicked, Grease, Buddy, The Woman In Black, Treasure Island & Blood Brothers as part of the deal! We haven't got Joseph at the moment but it could well happen in the New Year! You can buy discounted Joseph tickets via the site as well! x

totallytheatre
Thanks for clarifying it for us. I did forget to say we are running a members only competition at the moment to win a set of family tickets (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult, 3 children) to see Cinderella with Gareth at the New Wimbledon Theatre on the 14th Jan (draw is on the 7th) So even though we don't have Joseph tickets on the members offer just yet, there are still plenty of reasons to join!! eternal
Has anyone used these '2 for 1' theatre tickets before Linked to National Rail ?
Snowdrop
No, I've not, but now that you mention it, I remember reading something about it elsewhere. There is a recommendation that you can buy a really cheap rail ticket just to get the deal. You don't even need to catch the train!!! Unfortunately it's another offer that's limited to week-night shows, and Wednesday matinees. In fact, it might be particularly ideal for people who want to make a day trip of it from those parts of the country. That's if you aren't using one of the hotel deals. It looks as if going during the week is the best option if you've got the time.
Khelda
Just to say, I at long last booked my tickets for the opening night on 9 Feb for the evening show. :frantics: Really looking forward to it.
Snowdrop
Fab news. I'm so pleased to see that there will be fans there for opening night. I hope you get a good view!
Khelda
It was Lee's last night yesterday, at the end of the show Andrew Lloyd Webber handed him a coat (for keeps) and Lee wished Gareth well when he takes over. (I heard)
Snowdrop
Very nice. That must mean they'll be making a new one, so hopefully it won't be too smelly after all! Actually, they'll have to have made it already or there will be nothing for the understudy to wear for the next month. :hyper:
Khelda
I think they all wear the same one, but when they leave they get the one made for them.
Khelda
http://www.musicalworld.nl/actueel/7454/le...heid_van_joseph They mention Lee finishing the roll of Joseph and Gareth taking over on 9 Feb, in this dutch pluclication.
