I will try again later in the week Inge. In a way I wish she'd not said she'd come as that would have been better than knowing I could have gone if only I'd booked tickets earlier.

Gareth posted earlier about having his hair cut today but refrained from answering any of the questions about it. Now someone has posted this on Twitter so looks like he's got a new style @SaraMEvans17 Hilar @samiscabs - just seen our friend Gareth Gates getting off a train at Richmond. He has a new 'do.

I'm gutted. Just persuaded my Daughter to come to Oake Manor with me on Friday only to find out its completely sold out. Good news for Gareth but I'm so annoyed I didn't book earlier.

Gareth has posted a bit about the gig and a picture on his Facebook First night of the acoustic tour - 'So comfortable I took my shoes off!' Great first acoustic show last night in Wales, a place called Neath.. Wonderful people – great crowd ! Tried out some of my new songs – seemed to go down well! - as well as some of the old favourites.. Had a great night – the first of many acoustic gigs to come – see some of you in the Isle of Man tomorrow night! Gareth x

Hardly slept a wink last night. I couldn't have been on a bigger high if I'd been at the gig. Was so lovely seeing all the tweets and knowing how well the new music was received.

Thanks Heather. I feel quite nervous for Gareth tonight. It must be a bit daunting for him showcasing his new music after such a long time. Having said that I'm sure its going to be fantastic when we get to hear it.
