  1. This gig looks great. Gareth playing guitar and doing an acoustic set http://www.iwcp.co.uk/news/news/gareth-goes-acoustic-41128.aspx Gareth Gates will be playing at Shanklin Theatre next month. GARETH Gates will showcase his guitar skills to a Shanklin audience at a one-off show in November. The Pop Idol 2002 runner-up will perform an acoustic set at Shanklin Theatre on Friday, November 18. There will also be an opportunity for fans to meet Gareth after the show at a special meet and greet. Tickets are available from the box office.
  2. Thanks Floz. Looks a lovely day for those lucky ladies in every way.
  3. The blonde girl at the front of the last pic looked starstruck. Can't take her eyes off him by the looks of things. Thanks for these Heather. I must have missed them before, so thanks for drawing my attention to them Elaine.
  4. It was lovely to see wasn't it. That's what Gareth misses out on most of the time, being able to be like that. He did appear to be very relaxed last night. The more he does these interviews the easier it will get for him hopefully. I also liked the bit where he joked about being able to say BBC.
  5. Just noticed that now. I'll start a new thread.
  6. I'm totally confused now. The date on that article is today's date. Why would that be if its from last year. I hope Gareth announces this properly on Monday. Knowing nothing about the show myself, does everyone think this will be a good move for Gareth or not.
  7. There were two guests on before him. Shane from Boyzone and someone else, whose name I can't remember. I think it was about half an hour into the show, maybe a bit more. I think he was onn for about 15-20 minutes.
  8. It seems it may be reopening in the WE according to the telegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/theatre/theatre-features/7528239/Hippie-replacement-Hair-returns-to-Londons-West-End.html Gareth spoke lots about his speech and the program he's doing. He said it would be on mid November. There will be 5 students whose lives are badly effected by their stammer. He takes them through a course and we then see what a difference it has made to their lives. He also spoke about PI saying that if he hadn't gone into the business that way, he probably wouldn't have been able to do it any other way because of his stammer. Oh and when talking about the program he was doing for the BBC, the interviewer made a joke about him being able to say it and Gareth laughed and kept saying BBC over and over again. He was wearing a very smart suit, which to me looking like he was beginning to grow out of.
  9. I listened to it live on the RTE website. I think they have a watch again facility on there as well.
  10. I'm not too sure now Snowdrop, whether he said the WE or not. I think I just assumed that bit, but he definitely said Hair. Perhaps Sue heard a bit better than me. I got so excited when he said it I went a bit blank for a minute.
  11. Reading that piece it sort of seems to suit Gareth in some ways. Gareth didn't say anything more, in fact he didn't even say it himself the interviewer did and Gareth just said `Yes'.
  12. OK then, you can tell me off if you didn't want to know. He's going to be taking the lead role in Hair in the West End. Don't know much about the show, but I'm sure I'll soon find out.
  13. Is it OK to say here? I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to watch later.
  14. Thanks Heather. There are some lovely pics there. Good to see several males wanting to have their pics taken with Gareth too. I love the ones where he's spinning his Chooons!
  15. Gareth is on his way to Ireland
  16. Soulds like you're right Linda. Well done on looking out the details. I never know where to look.
  17. I saw that tweet from Matt Wilton. They kept this one quiet. Gareth is going to have a very busy Autumn with two courses to run, plus the TV program and also learning his lines for Aladdin. So proud of him.
  18. Yes we did Khelda. It was posted in this thread http://garethpaulgates.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8969&pid=116284&st=0entry116284

  21. It is a great write-up Heather. I didn't realize there was one if you clicked on the event. Stupid me. Nice to see some really relevant things written about Gareth's musical accomplishments for a change. Thanks for posting the write-up.
  22. Sounds like a nice place and will probably sell out quite quickly if its only that many.
  23. Not really Khelda. Quite a lot further than Poole. I think it will probably be the same set at both places.
