did anyone record anything of the songs? 2 secs would do for me  lol

Khelda said they were not allowed to use cameras or mobile phones at all during the performance. Then afterwards they could take as many pictures as they wanted

Just had a phone call from Khelda. Good job you posted up what she said to you Hazzy, because I was so excited I couldn't remember half of what she said. But it was the same as she said to you.

One other thing she did say, when she was about to have her picture taken with Gareth, of course it wouldn't work, so she had to stand there with his arm around her for a bit longer while it was sorted out.

Classic case of a fix if you ask me

The music is quite rocky, and Gareth's voice is so strong and emotional.

He thinks the album will be out early in the new year.

I got one thing wrong he wasn't looking out of the window.

Think I will let Khelda tell you all about it tomorrow when shes back home.

Argh I typed a lot but clicked the wrong button, got everything erased.

Now let's have a report in point form for all of you, I know you're eager to know more!!

- Gareth appeared on stage at 6:12pm sharp.

- Nicola, Charlotte, his parents, Simon Fuller and many people at 19 were there, as well as a photographer and people filming the documentary.

- He sang 8 songs from his album: didn't tell us the name of the first song; second was Pictures; third was Changes - this song meant a lot to him, about his life in these few years, dedicated to a special someone. We were asked to pay attention to the lyrics. Can't really remember the sequence he did all the songs, so they include: a song called (not sure) Guardian Angel on My Shoulder, dedicated to his mum for her birthday cos this was the first birthday he wasn't with her, really touching - Khelda and I had tears in our eyes, I saw some fans cry when he sang an acoustic version of this song; 90 Minutes (a sad song about breaking up with a girl, she hung up on him 90 minutes ago, 90 hours he still hasn't heard from her, and 90 days later he still couldn't sleep - these are the content of the lyrics that I can remember.); Lost in You (a brilliant pop rocky song); there was only one song that he wasn't involved in the writing, and he joked that we'd probably find it not as good as the other ones, though it was still good. I think he didn't tell us the song's name though. After singing that song, he told us that his friends and family have his new album for a while so they could sing along, but the fans couldn't sing along yet - and made a cute face mimicing how fans looked! Then he thanked the studio people, including a guy called Sasha (?!), who wrote You're Beautiful of James Blunt, which Gareth said was a good song. Then...I think he didn't tell us the names of the remaining songs...not sure though.

- He played the keyboard for Changes and 90 Minutes, among others.

- 90 Minutes was a slower song, absolutely amazing. I was touched by this song. Very much.

- After singing 8 songs as he told us he would, he left the stage. We were told to stay there cos he'll come out to mingle with us after a short while, so we just chatted and waited. After a few minutes, the band came out again, and so did Gareth!!! He said he's gonna do an encore even though we obviously didn't ask for it. He asked us which songs we'd wanna listen to again, and he did Changes and Pictures again.

- A few minutes after the encore, he came to mingle with us. We got autographs and pictures, and talked to him. A fan asked him to sign on her face, and he was surprised: 'Your face?!! Are you sure?!...OK haha.'

- I told him I'm from Hong Kong. 'Hong Kong?! Wow!!!'

- I gave him a letter, and he said 'Thank you. Thank you so much!'

- He asked for fans' names when he signed things for us.

That's about it. What do you wanna know?

Some more...

- 90 Minutes, Pictures and Guardian Angel on My Shoulder were slower songs.

I love them all so much!

- And all the other songs aren't hardcore rock, they're rocky, not noisy; kinda like Pop/Rock I think.

Sometimes they start slowly, then build up to a bit more rocky in the chorus.

Something like Busted's songs, but soooooooo much better.

- Gareth was really enjoying himself we could see. He sang with all his heart.

When the songs are slow and sad, he closed his eyes and portray the lyrics well.

When the songs are rocky, he got more excited too.

- Gareth's speech was normal. And by normal, I mean like an ordinary person talking.

He has indeed overcome his difficulties in speech.

And he is such a humourous guy!

When he played Changes on the keyboard, the sound was too soft for him, so he stopped,

but he didn't know how to change the settings, so he looked at the keyboard guy in the band for help.

When the guy was fixing the keyboard, Gareth said 'so that was Changes, now we're moving on to the next song...' (not his exact words but something like that).

- He didn't sing Face Myself / Something Right.

I think his new rocky songs are something like Face Myself, though even better. Much better.

- Gareth's voice was still perfect and angelic.

- He said he couldn't tell us more about the exact date and time etc for the documentary (I think that's what he said - though we actually knew the date and time).

- He said the documentary would be about his life so far, they filmed him when he led a McGuire course. And Khelda talked to the documentary people - THE NAME OF THE DOCUMENTARY ISN'T FINAL!

- Album will be released early next year.

Oh. My. Goodness.

It almost feels like the old days - new pictures, new music to talk about.

Thank you so mch for the pics and reports so far. He's looking gorgeous and the songs sound ace.

Were the press there or was this really for the documentary?

Some more about how he looked...

- God this young man has PERFECT skin!

- I saw a silver ring on his right ring finger. Does this mean anything? (Is it the right hand or the left hand that MEANS something?)

- He threw a towel to a fan standing directly in front of him. I sniffed that towel. Hee.

- No he wasn't nervous at all. He was obviously confident and enjoying himself.

And...some more about what he said:

- He thanked his dad for sorting all the lawyer and boring stuff for him. He said 'who else can you trust more than your dad? Thanks for always believing in me. Love you, dad.'

- The lyrics of the song dedicated to his mum was extremely touching in my opinion ('There's an angel on my shoulder...'). About how she protected him, worry about him, and how he could always go to her...

- He thanked 19 and his family for always believing in him, supporting him all these years. I think I saw him have tears in his eyes when he said all these. He said, he thought he'd never make it, never see us fans again, but this day has finally come, and he could do the music he loves to do. I nearly cried when he said these.

Can I post your report on the Official site Moliudiama?

Yeah sure, go ahead. Thanks for doing this for me!
