Val4Gareth Posted February 17, 2010 Report Share Posted February 17, 2010 I'm still ploughing my way through all these brilliant reviews, but this one written by someone who obviously didn't like the show in this format is quite a compliment to Gareth Went to see the show in Manchester with 2 die hard fans (it was their 7th time) and was disappointed. Dont misunderstand the performances were very good and the artists all did a superb job - I had seen the old 30's film version so knew the story but i just didnt connect with the characters so when tragedy struck i didnt care enough about them to be moved. It seems this just isnt my cup of tea, I would mention Gareth Gates who played the part well, I am not a fan of 'reality fame shows' but if it helped him get into this line of work it was a good thing as he was good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
