Steffi Wong Hello, I watched the show last night and it was

simply great. I love the new settings and the scenic arrangements,

especially when Jean Valjean carried Marius from the barricade through

the sewage. The visual effect was superb with the projection. I also

appreciate the presentation of "One day more" when all the charac...ters ponder about their destiny in different corners of the stage---a very beautifully

portrayed scene. Wish you all the success in the coming shows!

Beatrix Kiddo Came all the way from the Philippines to see the show on the first night! It was fantastic!! :) And thanks to the cast for being so accommodating at the stage door. Missed Earl Carpenter and Lynne Wilmot though. I hope Jon Robyns doesn't eat the breadstick pen we gave him!

If anyone is intending to listen to the French radio broadcast tomorrow live, can I remind you that France is one hour ahead of us. The programme should therefore be on at 11am to 12 noon our time(as long as the French broadcast time is 12 noon to 1pm).

It will be great to hear Gareth, John and Rosalind.

Love Linda

Thanks for the reminder.

If this is live it is going to be a very busy day for Gareth, John and Rosalind. After all they have two performances on a Sunday too :o

Wonder if Christopher Biggins went over especially for the first night of just happened to be in Paris?

Great that he has tweeted. Thanks.

I think this blog here is also referring to the first night. http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://rousseaumusique.blog.com/2010/05/29/heureux-miserables/&prev=http://blogsearch.google.co.uk/blogsearch%3Fclient%3Dnews%26hl%3Den%26ie%3DUTF-8%26as_drrb%3Dq%26as_qdr%3Dd%26q%3Dles%2Bmiserables%2Bparis%2B2010%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN%26start%3D10

I hope it's not too late. JOJ tweeted to say he was on at 11:30, but that might mean 10:30 UK time, or just when he was recording, lol. He didn't mention Gareth or Rosalind.

Hang on - just heard Gareth and Rosalind's names mentioned.

He's on now ....!!!

This is the first song being sung by Rosalind, they have had french group singing a song, they introduced Rosalind, Gareth and John at the beginning,Gareth said "Bonjour". Later when asked a question he was unable to answer with his speech,in the end he just said "wonderful".

That was brilliant! It seems like they decided against interviewing Gareth, but his singing did the talking. they did a little introduction for Gareth, in which they talked of him being in the very first Idol series, and something about his pop career, and then doing Joseph before Les Mis. And that he's 25!

Rosalind was very good too. Now JOJ is being interviewed. He's sucking up to them saying that Paris is the most beautiful city in the world with the nicest people - it would have been better if he'd not laughed. :D

Really enjoyed that. Gareth sang out of this world as usual. Such a shame his speech let him down today. I felt so sad for him.

Loved Rosalind's singing. She's got such a beautiful voice. JOJ was fantastic as usual and he certainly had an advantage when being interviewed.

Nice treat for a Sunday morning.
