I know the Diana Ross version of this song, though there are many others (a YouTube search for it will call up many singers performing it).

The DR one is on a "Christmas" album, and while not a Christmas song as such, I suppose it fits in with the religious theme of the show.

Gareth will do an excellent job as always I'm sure. It must take him back to his "Choirboy" roots!

Best check the times of Songs Of Praise in your local areas, as some people have it down as 4.25 pm B)

Clocks go back on Sunday morning, so some internet listings won't show the correct time until your computer has updated.

Really looking forward to this - Gareth on TV is always good news.

That could be the answer actually Linda. I've only looked on my Sky planner which updates automatically overnight Saturday to that may be why mine is showing up at 4.35. I'm going to get a local listing today to see what that says.

I almost forgot this! Thankfully the recorder was set and working, so I've just watched. It's about ten minutes into the show - very good Gareth was too. It was something a bit different from him, and although it is a hymn, it is a bit different to a lot of the rest of the programme.

Gareth just sang the song, and didn't chat as a lot of the other guests do.
