Looks like Gareth may be having a bad time and been taken off. Not surprised. Don't know how he could play at all after last night.

@charlottemox If Gareth Gates doesn't come back on @JennerOfficial might cry #celebfooty4harry

Gareth has put a lovely message on his Facebook

A DAY FOR HARRY... AND MY DAD!

Being a part of the 'Help Harry help others' charity football match was a real honour. Harry Moseley was an inspirational boy who died at the age of 11 due to a brain tumour. In his very short life he raised £1.2m for cancer research. He was an avid supporter of Birmingham City Football club.

Stood there on the centre circle during a minute of applause and watching some 8,000 people who had turned up to witness the event, made it very clear that Harry's legacy still lives on. 1 of those people was my dad! He's originally from Birmingham and a true 'Blue Nose' (whatever that means!!... I think it refers to how dedicated a fan he really is!!)

The pre-match routine included my dad walking the length of the pitch, touching the goal posts (!) and running around as though he'd scored a goal on the pitch he'd watched EVERY week as a child. Bless him.

For these 2 reasons, I LOVED my day! Obviously as well as chasing around after a bag of air with various celebs and friends including Joe Calzaghe, Nathan Cleverly and Arge (from the only way is Essex).

I'm now left recovering! I've not run for a while and it's fair to say EVERY muscle in my body still aches! Until the next one... !

Thanks to everyone that came to watch – see you soon

Gareth
