Totally agree, but then most people don't know about the latest album do they? I used to listen to the radio so much when Gareth was around partly in the hope of hearing him and partly to chastise the Dj's for playing dross instead of Gareth!!! :frantics: however now I don't listen because whatever the year they are focusing on or the genre he is never played. Can't figure it and never have been able to but it is a massive shame and a MASSIVE missed opportunity for any record company whatever the history between the artist and the label. xxx

I don't think Gareth is lonely, I think he was just papped on his own as he was walking round to the other side of the car to get in - perhaps? I do think he is naturally a slim person though, very slight, I have to admit I did think he was slim on PI because of his age and that he would fill out as he got older although on some pics it looks like he has put some weight on in person he remains very slight. I think perhaps instead of Sambuca he should develop a taste for beer that would soon pile the pounds on!!! :laugh:

My thoughts exactly Heather - have had time to read the review again and again and it is not bad at all really - I think I wanted a full thumbs up and 5 stars but then I do live in cloud cuckoo land a lot of the time! :laugh: Lets see what tomorrow brings. xxx

I am disappointed with that reveiw to be honest, mainly because Joe has not been to the showcase and to be honest I feel a more honest review would have been achieved after the showcase - which hopefully the other tabloid journalists and magazine writers will offer. I don't think Joe is comparing Gareth to George either - he thinks Gareth has been listening to George therefore implying that Gareth's music or at least Angel on My shoulder is influenced by George. I wish he had waited until after the showcase - then he could've given a much more in depth review. xxx

Just to let you all know that we collected £265.00 for Tracie. The flowers were £45.00 plus £2.00 delivery, so at present we have £218.00 to send to Anita. I am pleased we ordered flowers, I think they say so much and we still have a substantial amount to send to Harefield. Thanks everyone xxxx

I thought it could be a private party for the Sultan and friends and family, after all Gareth is there until 12th January so no reason to think he would not be performing privately. It was right and proper for the New Year concert to be cancelled given the events of Boxing Day but there is no problem with a private performance - and good for Gareth if that is the case and good for the T&A too. xxxx

Happy Happy Happy Christmas to everyone on here and the very best of New Years to you all. I too am very proud of all the friends I have made on this board and on ggates. I know we all come together with the love of Gareth as a common interest but we also deeply care about each other too. I see each and every Gareth fan as a soulmate and hope our friendships continue forever. Next year will be a very special time for us all, we have waited for what seems like eons for this album, for just a glimpse of Gareth here and there this past year, some of us have been luckier than others but having this board allows us to share what we can of our Gareth sightings. Body and Soul will be delighted with their "Christmas present" and I am sure that once again Gareth will be very proud of us.

The news page on ggates has been updated (thanks to rejuvinated for informing us) apparently Gareth is flying to Indonisia a the weekend to take part in a charity event for MTV Asia in support of HIV/Aids How brill is that!
