    What a beautiful story, Sweetpromise. It is the inner strength and beauty of Gareth I think that attracts us all to him. He is such an inspiration and once you are hooked I think you'd find it very difficult to break free of him. Not that I ever want to. I love him to bits.

    Actually Khelda I think what put James Blunt into people's minds were the Radio stations. Apparently, and I think I'm right in saying this, his album had been out for months with no-one taking much notice of it until the Radio DJ's started promoting him constantly. Plus he had the backing of Elton John I think. Whatever it was it certainly worked for him. If only Gareth could get that sort of support instead of all the negative stuff he's had to contend with before.

    As for the album cover, I think maybe 19 have issued two totally different photos of Gareth, because they want to see the reaction to each of them. I think there is certainly more thought going into what's best for Gareth now, than there was after Pop Idol, when they cashed in on his popularity and he was used as a pawn to make money for the company.

    I agree with you ShellCool. I too prefer the Gareth we know and love. The picture might grab attention for a while, but I'm sure the music will speak for itself. I don't want to hear people saying Gareth had to flaunt his body to achieve success again, because it's not true. Gareth's music and voice will always be the best thing about him for me and I'm sure many others. But I'm sure there will be a few people who will get much pleasure in saying this.

    This is my humble opinion too. :unsure:

    Is it just my eyes, or does he appear to have another cyst on his lip?  :blink:

    Think you could be right there Sugar. It was about this time of year when he was promoting `Sunshine', that he had one before. Could be a sore caused by the Sun I think.

  10. I got the new GPG CDs today

    Well I am almost speechless. Don't quite know how to put down what I'm feeling about these CD's.

    I watched the first half of the first one yesterday and I didn't think it could get any better. I never got to go to the tour so it was fantastic to be able to see most of it and almost feel as though I was there.

    Now today I've watched the second half. I've not seen many of Gareth's performances in Asia before and all I can say is `Magic'.

    Gareth's live performances on the tour were great but he looks so much more relaxed and so happy when he's singing in Asia. I can only assume its due to the response he gets out there compared to the way he is treated over here by the press and the media.

    Do we ever get any of these showcase performances, because I've never heard of any.

    Suspicious Minds on the Korean showcase was I think the best I've ever heard Gareth sing it.

    I know I've said it before, but thank you Snowdrop and Maggie for giving us these great CD's. I just wish we could have them played out on our TV screens so that everyone could see what a great performer Gareth is. Perhaps then it would shut a few people up.

    I'm over the moon with these and I've still got the second CD to watch yet.

    So thrilled you've got them - but don't delete ALL your downloads.  These CDs just contain some of the best bits!

    I received mine today. Watched for two hours this afternoon on the first CD. And I don't think I've got halfway through it. So I can't imagine you have missed out many clips. Absolutely fantastic Snowdrop. Worth every penny and loads more besides. I would have been willing to pay a lot more.
