This thought did cross my mind, I would have thought it could been more on the outstanding contribution as an ambassador. Still, I think we are proud of this award for him. SO....Gareth has just accepted the Celebrity Ambassador Award. Yay! Bless him, hope he is proud of himself.

Agree to some extent Sophie, Lionel is pretty famous through that film too, but how lovely that Gareth's name is up there with them and of course, his work is ongoing and will be for some time. Will be on tenderhooks! EVERYTHING IS CROSSED, lol So miss my emoticons, boo!!!

Interviewer said how inspirational and honest Gareth had been. But after said, ' Do you know what, he is such a fantistic guy, I walked out of that theatre last week, with a big smile on my face, because he was just so so nice, so much respect for him as well...Gareth Gates. Literal quote. What a lovely thing to say about him, and my chest is heaving with pride. Love that young man Gareth x

Thank you for the reminder Heather. Although I had remembered throughout yesterday, being first thing in the morning, it had slipped my mind. Happened to come on here and panic set in, ha! Fortunately he hadn't been on yet. Short but nice interview, but why, oh why, did the guy have to bring up the Jordan thing, so long ago? But I always think Gareth deals with it well and never disparages her. Very dignified answer. Bless him. Have to say though, what a lovely appraisal the interviewer had for Gareth after the interview had finished. Nice guy himself! Thanks again Heather. Hope it has replay for those that missed it. x

The audience remark Eternal, was simply that Gareth said something like, it is great being here with this lovely audience and you (to the interviewer) to which the interviewer was implying Gareth wasn't thinking he was lovely too, lol

Sorry, didn't get time in, but he was third guest. Shane Lynch of Boyzone, then a man talking finance, a commercial break then Gareth.

Gareth wore a grey suit, spoke very well, and seemed fairly relaxed. Talked quite a lot about speech problems of course and the programme,and that he was going to be teaching in Galway and the date. Also about the BBC 3 Doc. to take 5 people through the course. He did say on questioning that some girls have enrolled and put on a stammer to try and get into the course. Think he was joking. Also said Missy was already singing.

It was live streamed.

Also he said the BBC3 Doc. will be shown Mid November, yay! The powers that be must have decided that people were clamouring to know Gareth's plans so they decided to tell the Irish audience. The secret is out now!!!

This is great stuff. But so frustrating for me 'cos when I am in England I am right there in the Bournemouth/Poole area and was living there for 13 years and of course..... WOULD HAVE GONE!!
