  1. It was wonderful to get O K magazine with the photos and write up of Gareth's wedding while I was on holiday. I had been away since the 6th of June and must have been living in a bubble, as the first I knew was an advert on the t v. It was all pretty wonderful to see a very mature Gareth and his beautiful bride on their very special day. The only sour note for me, was the photo of Simon Cowell, Katie Price and her husband also sharing the front cover. A bit tactless, and very thoughtless. Good luck and best wishes to the happy couple, I hope they have many happy years together.
  2. How sad that a beautiful young lady has passed away. She looked really lovely in her photo with Gareth and my heart goes out to her husband and family. A lesson to us all to carry donor cards.
  3. I would have been honoured and proud if they'd asked me to hang it.
  4. I joined as well, but Mum's the Words posting will I'm sure have a huge rush of new members. Truly a Masterpiece!!!!
  5. My final word on this subject (I Hope). I have bought the previous Gareth Calanders, in fact I give them to my friends and daughter at Christmas. This one will be bought, hung up, not written on, and preserved with the rest. Who knows they might become collectors items in the future when Gareth is a HUGE name in the music industry, and I can leave them to the National Trust.
  6. Thank you Doris, A woman after my own heart. I have just spent 30 minutes on Sugarbox's site, watching Gareth giving interviews and singing. How I enjoyed it. Yes, he was looking younger, but still lovely. Please post Doris, you have a lot of worthwhile things to say, we all need to express ourselves and although we may differ at times I firmly believe we all have Gareth's best interests at heart. So different from Simon Cowell who suckered us all in at the start of Pop Idol with his support for Gareth. He now says he wont do a third series of X Factor as the public are getting a bit tired of him. (Took him a while to realise). But, he's made his millions on the backs of all he put forward. Gareth being no exception. Again thanks Doris. This is just for you.
  7. Funny, I just knew you would be the one to catch on to that. I wonder what gave me that idea.? I think you will have to change your signature to BAD GIRL>
  8. Inge, how many times have I got to tell you, you are a BAD GIRL.
  9. Yes, Shell Cool I agree with a lot you say, but at the GYOW tour Gareth had the scruffy look. Ripped jeans, a load of tops on and a heavy jacket. Dont know how he performed in it all. Personally I didn't like it as he was so clean cut on Pop Idol, but I thought "the young ones love it ". He tried that look and it didn't work. It didn't detract from his music as far as I was concerned, then the album didn't sell so well. It is a no win situation, presentation mean different things to different people. I have posted quite a few times Gareth could sing the telephone directory in a cupboard under the stairs, as long as he sings, to that I will now add, topless, bottomless, clothes on or off, as long as he sings.
  10. Poor Gareth, it seems he cant win. We all were very excited that it was posted that he was seen down the gym. We all wondered how his body was shaping up. Now we've seen it and at the start of these threads a lot of us were gobsmacked. Yes as a "golden oldie" I felt that funny flush we get. Now it seems the tide is turning against the topless shot. It is a beautiful picture of a beautiful man. Not a thing to do with his music. It will be on sale long before his music is, and I for one hope it brings him to the attention of people who have overlooked him in the past, as the stammering boy from Pop Idol. GO GARETH GO.
  11. Hi Shellcool. I haven't seen you posting before, but I agree with all you have said. The photos are lovely, the young will I'm sure "go daft for them" but it's the music at the end of the day that counts. So if the photos encourage a whole lot of new fans they will have done their job. Hope you keep posting.
  12. That is what you call youth giving way to age.
  13. The Queue forms on the right, and sorry I was FIRST.
