  1. Very well done Gareth. No one deserves this award more than you do.You have inspired and by your example given so many people the courage and drive to understand and deal with their stammer. Frankie
  2. Happy Birthday Francine!

  3. I have just been engrossed in reading word for word all the wonderful reports and saving all the great pictures from you lovely people who have been to see Les Miserables. I've waited almost 10 years to read such marvellous things said and written about Gareth.I've known how brilliant he is and what a marvellous voice he has ever since I first saw and met him before Pop Idol. That is when I first heard his beautiful classically trained voice. I must say I'm envious of all of you who have seen or are going to see Gareth as Marius as it's unlikely I'll be able to go. Altough it's just possible that if the show goes to the Barbican my son who lives down south may be able to take me. After being engrossed in all your terrific reports and the snippets from twitter etc.,it would truly be worth wating for.I'm waiting for the CD with baited breath. I'll be spending lots more time reading your reports for which I say a Sincere Thankyou.
  4. Thankyou Khelda and Snowdrop for the information. It's such exciting news about Gareth. It looks as if he will be on stage a lot.
  5. Fantastic, exciting news!!! It's about 10 years since I first heard Gareth sing.He was 15 and I knew immediately that he had the voice for the difficult music. Not only for pop songs. This is a huge, exciting step in what will be a long and wonderful career for Gareth. He will be doing what he loves best.Performing to live audiences and touring where he will be seen and heard by many, many people who probably haven't heard him recently. They'll see wonderful talented performances from him. I'm just sad that I won't be able to see him as he won't be appearing in a theatre near me.
  6. Thankyou Janice for the link.Great find. Gareth is his usual co-coperative self although he did look a little put out at first. But his happy smile as always came through.
  7. What wonderful news. Congratulations to Suzanne and Gareth and my loving welcome to dear little Missy It's a pretty name for a pretty babe and the more I say" Missy" the more it grows on me. Gareth,Suzanne and Missy will make a beautiful family and will be very happy. Love Francine [Frankie]
  8. Thankyou Nick for the lyrics. They are very well written. Would love to hear the full version.
  9. Thankyou so much for all the super photos, writeups and video. Thankyou to all you clever people. Gareth looked and sounded brilliant but then he akways does. What a wonderful thought someone had to have a signer there for the hard of hearing. What a great time you must all have had.
  10. Thankyou footygirl for your great pictures. They show what a huge crowd were there just for Gareth. The atmosphere must have been terrific. I hope he sold at least as many albums as there were people in the crowd. Your report Khelda gives a super description of everything that happened and it is especially great to know what Gareth's PA said about everything being fantastic for him.
  11. Just read your report Khelda. It's super. Wish I could have been there but there's no way I can stand for that long these days even if I could get there. I thought about Gareth when it came time for him to be on stage but I knew he would give agreat performance. He always has. I'm so happy for Gareth that it went brilliantly and happy for everyone off the boards who had such a great time. I've just watch your video Snowdrop.Thankyou, it gave me the essence of the gig.
  12. Thankyou Maggie and Snowdrop for being so quick in letting us know about Gareth at Hyde Park. I have been "clock watching" all afternoon waiting, hoping and wishing that all went well for him. Obviously it went brilliantly.I wish I could have be there but no way was it possible. But now I can relax knowing that all is going well for him and hopefully read more reports from other fans.
  13. Thankyou Janice for posting I'll certainly watching tomorrow night and the uncut version too. Frankie
  14. A long, long time ago"a little bird" told me that this is the real Gareth. Tonight he was his cheeky, funny, saucy, confident self and so relaxed. It was wonderful to watch him. Jonathon was so good with him but not too easy on him.It meant that Gareth could reveal his true personality to the National TV public. Ricky Gervais was clapping and urging him on.Gareth must have earned a lot of respect by the way he joined in with all the banter. It can only bode well for this future. It was great to know that there were producers there who were said to be excited to see how Gareth carried himself in the programme. He certainly held his own and didn't he look handsome and gorgeous.
  15. Thankyou Val I'll keep my fingers crossed.
