  1. I agree with everyone here – he was fantastic on the Jonathan Ross show. Every minute was sheer delight. His speaking voice was excellent. I realized that his heart was in the right place when he said: “My greatest achievement was to heighten the awareness of stammers”. I believe his patience and discipline has made him into an excellent course instructor. I’m sorry that he didn’t get to finish telling the audience the full web address of the McGuire Programme. I think that would have been a big help for the McGuire Programme. Anyway, it was a wonderful night. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

  2. Thanks Hazzy for the melody track and thank you to Gareth’s Hot Chick for typing the lyrics to 19 Minutes. It is such an endearing song. He writes from his  and that’s what makes his songs so special and I’ve wanted to memorise the words. Now that you’ve typed them up I find them easy to remember. I so love to memorise everything about Gareth.

He occupies my mind in so many fascinating ways ….continually.

  3. Spent the last few dramatic days reading and re-reading the contents of this thread of threads; the thread we’ve all been waiting for.

Much gratitude to Moliudiama and every one else for their pictures, reports, descriptions and commentary. I have loved reading them and I have come to the realization that all your remarks and interpretations echo what I have held in my mind for the past several years and comes down to one precise fact:

Gareth Gates is the salt of the earth.

To all my Gaz-et friends; thank you for sharing your feelings, thoughts and pictures but most of all, a tremendous thank you to the man himself.

May God bless you Gareth, you truly are the salt of the earth.

  4. Val, you are a gem. Thanks so much for starting this terrific thread of threads. We are all very pleased to see our Gareth once again and you have made it possible and easy to see his lovely pictures this way.

I believe I recognise a GPG member in one of the pictures, she looks so happy. (lucky lady)

    Again, 10.gif

  5. Gareth's come back is a blessing.

Gareth’s documentary will make a deep impression on the music industry and on his fans world wide, and it proves that he’s kept his promise -the one he mentioned in the statement below.

A devoted Gaz-et wrote to him saying: “Dear Gaz, you are so sweet and so sexy and I’m missing you loads, when will you come back, we can’t wait to see you live and loud.”

    He replied to her saying:

Hi, thanks for your support. I miss you guys so much. You are the original and best fans. Don’t worry though, I’ll be with you very, very soon. I’ll be back with a new single and I’ll be everywhere, I promise so don’t give up on me”

I have never given up on him. I knew he’d be true to his promise. A sincere, sweet promise.

  6. Its not broken. It just won't seem to play these home-made DVD's. Snowdrop has tried three different ways of producing it for me, but none have worked. You'll just all have to keep telling me all about what's on it and I'll have to use my imagination :)

Hi there, Val -- I asked my son, David for advice and suggestions to help you out. I was told:

    1. It's possible the disk has been region coded.

    2. You may need to do a software update.

    3. He suggested that you try the DVD on another machine.

    4. He asked if you're using a computer to view the DVD; if so, is the DVD in the correct drive- sometimes people put a DVD in a CD drive by mistake (that's something I would do). Hope this helps.

You asked me to tell you what's on the DVD and said you'll have to use your imagination.

I'll try my imagination on it also - here goes--

On the DVD showcase Gareth is performing at the Sunsec Mall in Singapore. He is doing a singing. He has a white towel which he hands over to adoring girls in the audiance.

Now -- Imagine he's wearing nothing but that white towel. No jeans, no shirt just a white towel wrapped around his lean hips. Then imagine that towel slipping, slipping slowley down those well tanned thighs, revealing long masquline legs, his muscles ripling as he moves.

You could almost feel his body heat as you reach out for that towel.

It's enough to excite your imagination for hours and hours.

  7. Glad you're all enjoying your DVD. Unfortunately my stupid player won't let me watch mine :(

Oh Val I'm sorry to hear about your playler. You must get it fixed somehow. If you're like me you'll have to find a clever person to assist you with it. Someone who has knowledge of electronics, components etc. I hope it wont be long before it's repaired because not seeing Gareth can be painful. Good luck with it.

  8. Received the Asia 2004 DVD- thanks Maggiemags and Snowdrop. Gareth appears as big as life on a 42 inch plasma TV. Looking at his gorgeous face filling the huge screen was a real feast for the eyes. Seeing Gareth’s DVD on a “home theatre” screen is like the man himself – amazing. My eyes adore him.

  9. I didn't actually do anything to fix it, lol!

Do you think it could have something to do with your cache thinking it's the old sized banner, so not adjusting the boards to suit?

Maybe it was the cache, I'm not sure but it's fine now, looks fab and the bonus of the on line Master Classes for posting images is an exciting idea as well as educational. This learning technique will be a good experience that will benefit us all.

The prospect of seeing more of Gareth in this way is gripping to say the least.

  10. Yes, Snowdrop, the logo is covering the links on my computer but I’m sure it can be sorted; the main thing is that we now have a superb design with brilliant colour. A really impressive layout from our own talented Gaz-et, Rachel.

A shinning contribution to an already first-rate website.

Also, a lot of inspiration was shown by others who designed logos for us and they deserve a big Thank You; not just for their time but for their enthusiasm. It proves we are all a part of a great team.

    Long live GarethPaulGates.
