It was Eternal who gave us this news Carol, not me .
Sorry Chris, profuse apologies. I have booked to go, and am very excited about it.

On the banks of the river, how lovely to do a gig there. I love Stratford on Avon, we have visited there many times. Thanks Heather for the info.

It's just up the road from me. Gareth has been appearing in this area a lot this year, which is great for me, but I won't be going to this one. My student days are over. sob sob.

Wow for a special birthday or celebration. What could be nicer! Beyond my pocket I am afraid.

Thanks for the link Snowdrop, I enjoyed watching the Video.
Thank you Heather for scanning the newspaper Article, loved reading that too and love the photos.
Yes thanks very much, it was lovely to see, Gareth did fine, but he needs to know when it's his turn to speak, bless him.

Gareth speaks a little german, you could not call it fluent though.
Maybe they were looking at up and coming designers who have good ideas and might be a bit different?
Was it his German oral exam that Gareth had to sing Inge, and he passed? I seem to remember something like that.

I thought Gareth was brilliant on TRH on Monday. However, even if his face was covered, I would know his walk, and when he paced around, even viewing him through another office, his walk gave him away. But with those specs, you could still see it was Gareth.

Thanks Val for the report and pics, sounds like everyone had a wonderful time. How smart and debonair Gareth looks in his suit.

June you are an absolute star to do all these videos so everyone can enjoy Gareth's music. You put a lot of time and effort into these, and the Dartford and Maidstone ones, and for people who couldn't make the venues, it's very special to be able to share them. I may put some on FB if you don't mind for the fans who are not on gareth forums, but certainly it will be nice for you to personally tweet your hard work to Gareth yourself.

Thanks everyone for the info. I have never seen this show before, but look forward to seeing Gareth in it soon.

Thanks so much Maria for posting this and Doris for the pic. I will have to see how far MK is for me. Glad you can go Elaine, and hope some of you others can make it too. I think the colour of the costume is a bit startling, but it may grow on me!

I thought when it happened that Gareth would naturally be saddened. Bless him, so sweet to offer his condolences.
I agree Sue, and what a tragedy!

I actually think the AOL page is hilarious. Not the article itself, but the reaction of the vast majority of people, and you can tell it's the general public, not just Gareth fans doing it, but well done to those fans who have commented. Even The Mail have rewritten the article yet again to make it more positive. That's a victory for people power.

I think it will come as something of a shock to them when they read the feedback to realise just how they misjudged the public mood!
Isn't it nice to see how well loved Gareth is now by the general public, and not just his fans? There was a time when it was absolutely essential to defend his corner as at least 50per cent of the comments were negative. These days it's rare to find anyone against him. I am so proud of him!

I am disgusted at the google alerts I got today , all the papers are trashing Gareth for doing this cruise ship performance. He is trending on AOL as one of the main stories, so I have put up a comment, and everyone except one person, who has been shouted down by the others is supporting him. I also commented on the SUN article, but that hasn't been shown, but the aol one has.

Here's another link about the cruise , a forum where Gareth's cruise is being discussed

Thanks for that, it's nice to see one of the members has booked on it, so there will be feedback.

I would think Gareth will be able to enjoy the day in Bruge when the ship docks, can;t see him being asked to multi-task as waiter etc.
Thanks for that Doris. What an amazing waiter Gareth would make all dressed up in uniform. lol

Ha! He's so funny, he cracks me up,
Well Missy will be happy no doubt! Thanks for posting Val.

Doesn't this sound lovely. Thanks so much for posting Val! How diverse Gareth's appearances are, from Pizza restaurants, to festivals, then a shopping centre, and now a cruise ship. What a wonderful idea. I don't have a spare £400 knocking about sadly, but would go if I did.
