  1. Not only has Gareth a handsome face but he also has a great physique. Look at those footballer's legs! how that man has blossomed since Pop Idol. The man who has the lot. Lucky Suzanne.
  2. That guitarist is the Pete who played for him when he was going round doing his signings at HMV is it not? I think Gareth said he was Australian.
  3. I wasn't sure about the suit at first but it does stand out from the rest. Gareth is a young guy and he can get away with it. I have bought three OK magazines this week. One for myself and two to go abroad. I normally never buy magazines!
  4. I agree with you Khelda, that is my favourite photo too. They look so happy and contented and perfectly at ease with one another and so in love! Bless.
  5. Fantastic wedding and photos. Of course it helps when the groom is tall, dark and handsome and the bride is tall, slim and beautiful. On a different tack - I read somewhere that an artiste can pick up over £100,000 for doing a private performance - not to be sneezed at.
  6. Sorry, I got a failure notice back but I checked in OK and that address seems to be correct. SORRY. I don't know why I am so stupid. The address is fine, just that there is a full stop after christian e.g christian.guiltenane@express.co.uk
  7. If anybody wants to send an e-mail to OK to thank them, the address is: christainguiltenane@express.co.uk (I've just copied it from the OS). Sorry, should be: christianguiltenane@express.co.uk
  8. Nobody has mentioned the bouquets which I think were lovely (cream roses) I think. I am so grateful that they didn't go to Antigua for their honeymoon like that young couple who also were recently married ontheir honeymoon and the bride was shot dead. How sad is that?
  9. I agree, the wedding was lovely and Gareth and Suzanne looked gorgeous as usual. Yes, I was disappointed to see Michelle Heaton there. She seems to be everywhere and would go to the opening of an envelope if it would get her face in the paper. (Sorry, but it is true)! She did use to work for OK Khelda but not any more. I think her place was taken over by Nicky Grahame. Gareth's dad was not on any photo which is a shame because he too is a handsome man. I read somewhere that he is a very private person so probably does not wish his face to be made public. The wedding must have cost a fortune for the food alone. They had a wedding breakfast then a banquet, and later, roast boar. They also had a five tier cake (each tier a different sort of cake) all covered in chocolate and champagne of course. Good luck to them and everybody seemed to have a good time. Oh, I forgot, also had fireworks later in the evening.
  10. Thank you to you all for your lovely reports. Also thank you for the link to the photos. I think Andrew was one of the finalists in Joseph. Am I right and one of the girls was a finalist in the Sound of Music. I think it must be quite tough for them all trying to find good parts. It isn't an easy life but for those who are successful it must a great life. Hope Gareth is successful as he deserves to be.
  11. Thank you Khelda. Great news. Glad Gareth was there for you because after DOI another disappointment would have been just too much!
  12. Eternal Are you sure that you are booked into the right theatre? The first plan is for the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Gareth is appearing at Her Majesty's in the Haymarket on 6 July
  13. According to that long list of performers, I would suggest that Gareth is only likely to sing one song.
  14. I'm not so sure about that. I saw an interview Gareth gave a couple of years ago where he said that it would take him about 6 months to reach opera standard.
  15. I think all musical theatre is risky, especially a newshow. Gone With the Wind didn't last very long. Darius was in that and he got good reviews but the show did not, so poor Darius. Hope he finds something else. It might be better if Gareth took on an established role. There are some great songs in Les Miserables that would suit Gareth's voice, but then I suppose it is not fair to others who are struggling to establish themselves in musical theatre. I do not know. Wonder if Gareth should go back to opera??????
  16. Well done Gareth. This is just what he needs to showcase his singing. I hope a lot of important people attend.
  17. Thank you for allyour lovely reports. I was at DOI in Manchester this afternoon and I enjoyed it just as much as when I saw it at Sheffield the second night of the tour. In fact, I think it was better because all the skaters seem so much more polished and confident. Gareth and Maria were, of course, gorgeous. For their first skate they skated toA Beautiful Day and they scored 25.5 and received good reports from the judges. Even got a 5 from Jason! They wer equal fifth on the leader board with Zara. Chris Fountain scored the top marks of 30! He was also in the Bolero skate off with Kyran, Chris won. I think poor Linda and David must feel demoralised always in the bottom two! In th second performance Gareth and Maria were dressed in red and skated to Living on a Prayer and didn't put a foot wrong. They always seem so happy and smile more than the others and the audience seem to love them. They certainly work hard. They will have given five performances in three days. They won't know what to do with themselves after the show finishes next Saturday. Linda, Of course Gareth's family are lovely people. They come from Yorkshire no less! P.S. The only one to have a tumble was Zara but it was the second performance so didn't count in the voting. Please excuse the mistakes.

    Sad News

Although I didn't know Nicola my sincere sympathy goes out to her family at their very sad loss.
  19. Many thanks from me also to Gazman, Yvonne and Missunderstood. Emma did you remember to take your banner and did you wear your T shirt?
  20. Khelda I am so sorry that Gareth wasn't performing last night. How disappointing for you as I know you were looking forward to it so very much. One small consolation is that many, many other people also missed out. However, these things happen and we have no control over what is thrown at us. I do hope Gareth's nan will soon be well. So sorry, Khelda. I really feel for you.
  21. Thank you. Lovely photo. What a good looking couple they are and are very well suited. Suzanne so pretty and Gareth so handsome. I wish them much happiness now, and always. I think Gareth's taken Jason's comments to heart - stand proud and chest out!
  22. Going back to Bolero. After the text vote, they all stand in a line and then their names are called out in turn. The ones with the lowest vote going first and so on until they come to the last two. They then dance Bolero and the judges decide the winner.P.S. When I saw it at Sheffield, Gareth came either fourth or fifth which wasn't bad and Suzanne won.
  23. Thank you for your lovely report Yorksheather. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I thought you would and who wouldn't? It was lovely Gareth's family being there. Perhaps the children could be Gareth's parents foster children. What a gtreat for them all. They must differ the routine because I don't remember them all doing skating in their Bolero outfits. I think they all came out in their Bolero outfits and just stood there while the results were announced. Chris also got a much better reception than Suzanne when I was there too. However, Chris is also a Yorkshire lad and Frankie comes from Sheffield. Apparently people are complaining that we are a staid lot in Yorkshire with no waving banners etc. I expect things will warm up as the tour progresses. The last night of the tour is in Sheffield so that is bound to be a big party night I should think. Wish i was going.
  24. Snowdrop. The audience vote for who should do Bolero and then the judges vote on the top two to decide the winner.
