Channel 5 Later this morning they are going to discuss Gareth Gates asking for the engagement ring back(even though they say he's denied it). Asking if the panel think it's right to give the ring back when a couple break up.

The majority of people said you should give the ring back,Nicola McLean on the panel said No it was a gift ,she should sell it and have a luxury holiday to rub it in.(that's what she did to a diamond merchant she was engaged to once)

People,except one women who phoned in said it should be given back,Storm who is presenter on the show said definitely give it back as it's not a gift but a promise of marriage.

Glad that the majority said to give it back is only right, and it just shows what kind of person that Nicola is when she did not.

Nicola McLean used to be a glamour model now married to a footballer. She's been on a lot of reality shows and doesn't come across as a nice person so no surprise she said that!

Thank you Doris for sharing this, it’s such a relief to hear most were for Gareth getting the ring back. I was worried before I finished reading your post thinking on here we go another opportunity for people to have a go at Gareth.

Not sure what my thoughts are on it as never come across it before. 

I can't see Gareth asking for the ring back as he is so generous with both Faye and her family.
