Well that was nice, he could promote the festival, they showed a pic of him and Missy. He said he would encourage her to go the 'proper way' in the music business. 🙂

He knows the pit falls (people putting reality music stars down).

And he cooked a nice steak sandwich. 🙂

I rewatched the programme again last night (and enjoyed it even more).

I loved when the Rev Kate Bottley said how she had been on the cruise Gareth was on and went to see him and said " Best night I have had in ages". She said she saw him in the ship's hospital next morning. She said it was to do with the testing. Gareth said it may have been a hangover🙃

Was also interesting when questioned about Missy and her going into the industry, Gareth said he would be her manager (I suppose just as Gareth's dad has been his manager).

I then watched the rest of the programme, which after the light heartedness as the beginning went on to discuss some serious topics sympathetically. Will definiitely tune in again.

Thanks Eternal,  really enjoyed seeing Gareth live and good that they showed his speech therapist. There are still people who say that he put it on to get sympathy!!🙄

Yes who would believe it??

It's interesting to see how Gareth's stammer and the way he (and Chris) handled it has caused this first interesting blog.

Stamma on Twitter

I think most people benefit from whatever suits them. Personally I think it perfectly acceptable for Gareth to have his speech buddy there on set with him It obviously allowed Gareth's humour to shine through.

I totally agree that there shouldn't be a  right or wrong way to deal with a stammer,  it's up to each individual and if Gareth feels more confident having someone to support him I don't think a speech therapist should criticise it.

This is a really good blog.

It's interesting to hear this plea about there being more stammering on TV  Re Twitter in order to make it more acceptable.

I'm inclined to agree.

There's a chance to sign a petition HERE 👍 for it to happen. (Not keen on them asking to chip in a £5 once signed. I haven't. There is the option to share in the confirmation email).
