  1. Unfortunate message from Garett. but it dows appear he'll be doing all the rest of the Footloose tour.

    From Gareth:

Just wanted to personally let you all know that I have to cancel the acoustic gig in Leicester next Saturday. I am of course gutted. I am back and 80% there with my voice – Footloose is actually helping it get stronger! But I am a few weeks away still from being able to perform a whole acoustic set which is of course challenging for me still. I had hoped to make it but we have run out of time.
My management is currently speaking to the venue to see if we can put in a new date in the Autumn after Footloose finishes..
Please try and catch me in one of the theatres if you can – I am doing all of the rest of them! For details:
www.footloose-musical .com or in Belfast for Panto this Christmas!

    Love Gareth

  2. Another fabulous review.

Gareth Gates as Willard Hewitt was genius. I was in stitches with his comedy timing and Willardisms. The crowd roared with approval when he initially came on stage. Willard's antics are very rude, comedically rude. If you like adult humour then pay attention to Willard. His girlfriend, Faye Brookes (who plays Kate Connor in ITV/STV/UTV's Coronation Street), is a very lucky lady.

  3. That's lovely Khelda. Thanks for telling us about the tastings. So pleased you managed to get there. Pity as you say that it wasn't advertised a bit better.

That was nice of you to mention me to Gareth and how lovely of him to say how pleased he was that we all went to Bradford to see him. Such a lovely, polite guy and so grateful for everything.

Did you not try the Coconut tea? I find that one most refreshing of the three.

I hope you manage to get your picture on here. Would love to see it.

  4. Another 2 lovely reviews Heather. Love these bits yet again.:wub:

Audience favourite and scene-stealing Gareth Gates must also be applauded as his comic physicality and likeability as Willard is nothing less than superb.

Gates’ portrayal of Ren’s best mate Willard has to be seen to be believed. His awkwardness makes him extremely loveable - but it is just a shame we don’t get to hear a bit more of his undeniably great voice.
