Awww bless you Kirsty, just shows how each and every one of us is different, like me, i'm a shy person around people I don't know, i'm a lot better than I used to be but at the same time it doesn't really scare me meeting new people and travelling by myself doesn't bother me, I was nervous travelling to Sarahjanes in Birmingham the first time I met her along with Andrea and Sadie was staying then too, my biggest fear though i'll say was what if I get off thew wrong stop, I got a bit anxious when it stopped at Wolverhampton thinking that was where to get off lol but now I could travel anywhere and not be scared or worried, ask for directions etc especially when having traveled to different places to see Gareth. It was lovely to meet you Kirsty with your beautiful little daughter outside panto so i'd be more than happy to wait outside Wetherspoons for you like Chris said but also like she said, Val is very welcoming so you'll be just fine.

No need to apologize Chris. Just thought i'd do a list of who I know is definitely going so far by who I heard has booked so far Chris, Val, Yvonne, doris, ValR, Linda, June and guessing it's your sister who's going with you, me, Viv and Lorna and it's only Feb.

I'm unsure Lorna is a member on here but she booked today and I noticed everyone I know of who are going so far are all together in the first 3 rows, mine D16 and Lorna D20 and Viv in C17 next to others who already posted where their sat.

I decided to come to this meetup now and stay over in the hotel will be sharing a room with Viv if she can get her room reservation changed to a twin room i'll book 2 weeks off work I think to have a rest too like I was planning to the following week as it's the following week I go to Sarahjane's to see the show in Birmingham.

Thanks for your lovely and very detailed report Elaine really cannot wait to see the show myself I see your point Chris but there has been times where I've been at the stage door with Sarahjane etc and we was told by someone Gareth won't be coming out or he gone another way and we ignored and continued to wait there thinking the person may just be lying to get rid of people or are wrong lol.

I just wish in the beginning I wasn't to shy to join any boards but at least I got to know many Gareth fans since and I am an original fan as in been a fan since Pop Idol but just didn't know anyone back then.

I'm not sure yet Chris, depends on if I can get the time off work for one as it's the following week I see it in Birmingham with Sarahjane, her mom, Hayley and her mum and i'd booked for Manchester with Sarahjane, she is unable to stay away from home in a hotel bless her, we could of seen the matinee then met up with you all after then came home when you're going in to see the show in the evening but it's a lot of travelling on the way back changing coaches, which is to much for her, its 4 hours 10 mins by coach with no changes to get a mid morning coach which we would need. I could come on my own as it's a lot closer to get to from Manchester if I can get the time off work.

Pretty much everything has been said by others in their reports, Gareth plays the perfect Prince as always, i can't think of anyone else as perfect for the role as he is. Here's my pic with him, thanks to Sarahjane getting rid of the red eye. glad we had chance to give him the gifts but would of understood if he hadn't felt like or had time to come out.

Thank you so much for your very detailed report Linda was lovely to read, glad you had had a brilliant time which i knew you would i must admit though I'm feeling worried about his hoarse throat as While its understandable he's probably still recovering from his injury or it could be a general sore throat but I just worry about it happening again, his voice is far to precious for that, not that any singer deserves a vocal injury but still.

How does this horse riding thing work? in other words what is Gareth's actual involvement? sorry I don't have a clue how it all works unless of course he was the jockey.

I'd try and ring up the venue/venues you can reach and see if they have gone on sale for that venue as I know Viv on Twitter managed to book but not sure what venue so there is some on sale, if not all.
