You have done so very well to do all the work that has resulted in raising the contribution for Body and Soul.
When you know the price of the pins I will order some.
My sincere thanks Maggie and Snowdrop for keeping us informed of everything that is happening and I will continue to support the wonderful efforts to raise funds for Body and Soul.
Also my thanks to the people who work at Body and Soul for their reply.

Thankyou for posting the article and the 2 lovely pictures.Gareth looks very much at ease with the tiny baby in his arm.
I would imagine he had some practice when his young sisters were born.
Good luck to his Mum in her studies to become a midwife.
The hair doesn't worry me as my eldest son who is a musician has much longer hair

I feel very lucky in the lovely friends I have made on ggates and here too.It is all due to a wonderful young human being called Gareth.
He is an inspiration to all who know him.

May I add my sincere thanks and complients to everyone who has been involved in making these forums possible.
I have very few skills where computers are concerned but I have found this site easy to use.
What I especially like is the wide range of subjects that the forums cover.There is always a place where one can join in the conversation on lots of varied subjects.There is an opportunity for adult opinions to be voiced.
I must emphasise that I will never neglect ggates,Gareth's official site,in spite of how slow and frustrating it may be.

putting SITS on the cd was silly as it would have been possible to include Foolish and or Skeletons thereby making an excellent album which would have stood on its own.

If it hadn't been for the well publicised difference of opinion between the two Simons [yet another one]
there would only have been one cd which would have been much better.I like Foolish and Gareth reached those top notes without any outside help
.After all he is a trained tenor.If only Night cd included Foolish,Skeletons,Listen To My Heart and moved Soul Affection to Day then Night would have sold on it's own merits.

I hope Gareth will be switching the lights on and sing for us.

That made very interesting reading Maggie.I'm wiping my brow after ploughing through it.
The possible deal between Simon Fuller and Cannel 4 sounds full of promise.Never know what may come out of it re Gareth or could I be in cloud cuckoo land/

Foolish "duet" with Tyler James

I've always loved Gareth's version of Foolish.
I was talking to Deano today at the Heritage Centre. He is the presenter/DJ of the 6.00am to 10.00am slot on Ram FM, Derby's commercial station and I asked him if he had played Tyler James version of Foolish which is in at no.16.He said,'who? I've never heard of him'.
So much for getting into the Top Twenty.
If Gareth had put it out as a single I don't doubt but that he would have been top 1/2/3.
