  1. Its at 37.40 and it sends shivers down my spine to hear it being played (and Paul clearly loved it)
  2. I was there, I was there, I was there. :hyper: Two sensational performances and a terrific weekend. As Maggie says, G was fabulous. What a voice. Really full of emotion at times almost whispering, at times, full of power. Wonderful. The whole thing is as camp as Christmas of course. I've never been a fan of Lloyd Weber, but G, with his combination of enthusiasm, mischief and sincerity made this a thoroughly enjoyable evening (x2). Of course it helped seeing him semi naked for much of the performance!! The auditorium was packed. The audience lapped it up and he got a much deserved standing ovation on Friday (couldn't see if he had one on Sat too) Lovely to see folk again and meet some for the first time. Lovely too to see how G works the scrum at the stage door so graciously, and makes everyones day. Just fabbie.
  3. Worked just fine. Great find and lovely to watch.

  5. Oh my goodness. Thanks for that insight. Pleased that he had a few goes before the big night if its full of bigwigs (+ALW)
  6. From the woman who plays the narrator's blog for today (9th) - Jenna Lee James http://web.mac.com/jennaleejames/Jennas_Jo...!!.html So tonight marks Gareth’s official opening night as ‘Joseph’. He has actually already done 3 shows on Friday and Saturday last week. A bit of a surprise to audiences at the Adelphi but he was received with great acclaim and got the standing ovation he deserved. Gareth plays the role fantastically and really does take you on Joseph’s journey. He is naughty and mischievious, cute and funny, strong and charasmatic and wears the loin cloth to perfection!!! He really is a fantastic Joseph and one not to miss. I will be performing with him tonight (Monday 9th February) normally my scheduled night off but I couldn’t miss such a special evening. I hope to see some of you there, but if you can’t make it don’t worry I will tell you all about it soon!!
  7. I am embarrassed to admit that, while I got my CD a couple of weeks ago, I only listened to it for the first time last night. But what a joy. Glass Slippers and Gypsys of the Ether are amazing in particular. Great that there are a couple of clips up too
  8. From the OS Watch Gareth on Loose Women on ITV1 on Monday 1st Dec at 12.30pm! He'll be chatting to guest host Emma Bunton and the other Loose Women about his upcoming role as Prince Charming in Cinderella and his exciting West End debut as Joseph in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

  23. Lovely. I think he's stayed there before as well - when on tour But you have to laugh at these places don't you - minimum of £350 a night (and lots more for the superposh rooms) and they still have the cheek to charge an extra £17.50 for breakfast!!
