Have a lovely day everyone - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you about the weather. Looking forward to hearing your reports. -
Went to the Manchester show yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought Gareth showed so much versatility - equally at home with pop or musical theatre. Definite highlight for me was Why God Why, but loved everything. Had to rush off afterwards but managed to wave to Snowdrop and Maggiemags at the interval. Doris, we must have been sitting on the same row but didn't see you! I'm sure everyone will enjoy tonight's show, they are in for such a treat.

Gareth as a St Trinian's girl at the Party

He may or may not do in his private life, but if you look in the photo there are no smoking signs behind him so I think they are pretend cigarettes - in keeping with the naughty schoolgirl theme! -
Thank you for all the fantastic reviews. Loving them all. Have booked for the Barbican!

Just returned from the last night of Les Mis at the Lowry. It was a wonderful performance tonight and I thought Gareth was the best I have seen him. I was with two people who aren't Gareth fans - and who don't know that I am. So without any prompting they both said that they thought he was really good, praising not only his singing but his acting too. Everyone was outstanding tonight as was Laura Tebbut as Fantine. I have been lucky enough to go four times, twice in Manchester and twice in Salford and I think Gareth has grown tremendously in terms of his performance. I know it's greedy but I wish I could go to the Barbican... Before the performance we went to Pizza Express and had not booked so had to queue. We had been standing for a while when I noticed Gareth was in there sitting with a group. We were waiting for about half an hour so I had quite a while to cast surreptitious glances his way! I didn't go over to him because I think he should be allowed to eat in peace, but I did enjoy the view!! -

That has just reminded me - did think they might have plugged the album last night. We were rushing at the end but I didn't actually see where they were selling the album either before or after the show. They didn't mention that it was available to buy when they were making the announcements before the show began.I will make sure I find it and buy it next week. -

Thankfully that isn't the day I'm going - no disrespect to Owain, but I want to see Gareth as Marius. -

Yes, finally managed to download it!!! Worth the wait. Thank you so much Phillipe!!!

Thanks Val for bringing it over - I tried to open the link on the OS and am getting the message - The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable - has anyone managed to open it yet? Perhaps someone could ask Philippe if there is a problem. I would, but still can't log on to OS site so have to content myself with "read only".

Oh, thank you for bringing that over Doris. It's lovely to hear it went so well. Wish one of the cast would tweet soon!

Loved Empty Chairs and Bring Him Home - Snowdrop, you do make me laugh with your comments - like you, I'm not a fan of either jazz or warbling ladies!
-
Loved both songs - like Khelda, I'm a country music fan and thought the duet was great. Looking forward to the rest.

Found them now, thanks - lovely pics - he looks a bit tired towards the end - no wonder. Still smiling though!

Thanks for the link - did you notice which pages they are on - to save me going through them all - couldn't see Gareth on about 20 either side.

Thanks all for your great reports. Love to read them all. Looking forward to many more to come! -
Oh Maggie, that is such a shame. I wish I had been able to record it - it was fine for me. He sang beautifully as well as being very handsome!
