eternal
Any child off school due to Coronavirus still have to have structure and routine in their lives. Well done to Joe Wicks for getting both children and moms and dads exercising at 9.00am every morning.
eternal
If Lilac can do the exercises SEE HERE ON TWITTER then all the children should have a go. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Joe Wicks was signed to carry this on at 7.30 to 8.00am every morning, once the children are back at school?

ValR
I saw that on BBC breakfast Eternal - absolutely loved it, they should show it every morning! Did you see the Barricade boys including JOJ and Alfie Boe doing 'Bring him home'? Unfortunately I don't know how to put them here!,

eternal
Have been for a walk today and so many rainbows painted by children in the windows. What do they mean?
Khelda
Children display rainbows in windows to urge people to ‘be positive’ https://www.thewestonmercury.co.uk/news/wick-st-lawrence-rainbow-hunt-group-set-up-to-tackle-coronavirus-boredom-1-6578598 We have lots of them in the windows as well, its lovely to see when you walk by.
Barbara
Just read that the new Nightingale hospital have asked that children do not send rainbow pictures to the hospital. The Facebook request was fake and not from the hospital. There is a lot of fake news on the internet at the moment.
eternal
I love the idea of the children being positive. They must have their worries at the moment too. These rainbows surely make you feel good. Yes Barbara there is a lot of fake news on the internet. In fact I think you start to wonder what is true and what is not.
eternal
Listening to Joe Wickes this morning talking to Chris Evans. He confirms he will carry on exercising all our children Monday to Friday untill he is no longer needed. He is coming up with different ideas to hold the children's interest, including asking children to send in their own exercise videos to him. Today is Mufty day for all those children exercising. He also confimed all revenue from Youtube he will donate to the NHS

eternal
Lots of children are back to (home) schooling today having most parents given them time off for East (except for Prince William and Kate's children). Moms and dads are doing a great job as best they can but I bet some of them look forward to this day Peter Zaidan on Twitter
Khelda
The home schooling means they have work to do on the computer, set by the school (teachers), I know because my daughter has to set some work and also check the work the kids do, plus she has to go into school on some days to teach a small number of children who are from key workers.

eternal
National Children's Gardening week is 23rd to 31st May 2020 Let's hope Garden Centres can be opened by then, even if click and organised collect.
ValR
Let's hope so too Eternal- I can't understand why they are not allowed to open now, especially as B and Q are. We have lots of small nurseries round here ad it would be very easy for them to just allow a couple of people at a time in, maybe have a time limit and obviously social distancing.

eternal
There is the chance to help children in the community who haven't got laptops, to help their learning online. Daily Mail are doing a campaign for Computers for Kids. They did an amazing campaign for donating PPE last year so let's hope this campaign helps those disadvantaged children too.
