  1. Thanks for that Linda, I will tune in.
  2. Lovely pic and write-up. Lucky lady, not surprising that she fancies him!
  3. Thanks for uploading the video link. Gareth is happy and in great form, love his humour!
  4. I don't know the answer to that, presumably one has a better view. When I booked, they were offered to me as the best seats.
  5. What a beautiful and tasteful wedding, and as others have said, the pics are fun and don't look posed. I was particularly moved to read that Gareth was word perfect when he took his vows. That would have meant everything to him! It's great that his sisters were bridesmaids, it shows how close Suzanne is to them! I was also touched that Gareth chose Nicola to sing to them. It would have meant the world to her, and shows just how close they still are. Changing the subject, it did cross my mind that as I am having a special birthday next year, it would be amazing to have a Gareth gig . Sadly I couldn't afford it, but what a thing to dream about if I ever win the lottery!
  6. Thanks so much for that. The news is travelling!
  7. Thanks for all the links.I'm thrilled for Gareth, it's great! I have got tickets to go, but think i will record it as well.
  8. Can't wait for the pics! I think it will be OK, as they have already covered the engagement.
  9. Lovely detailed report Elaine! As you can see, I'm home, so am now going to post mine. The day started badly for me as on the way up th M2 it started to rain, and this obviously held up the traffic. I picked up Amy, and got back on, but by now, the traffic was even worse. We had to queue for ages to get through the tunnel, and then there were hold ups all the way along the M25. I arrived late and very flustered at Elaine's, and then we stiil had to get the train into London. We arrived quite late, and I was very amused to see that there was a very small foyer, and as we had arranged to meet people there, it was a bit like sardines in a tin! I was greeted there by a lady from Wales, I don't know her name, but I met her at Asda at Bristol last year, and she had come all the way especially to see Gareth. She isn't on the boards, but she is an avid fan. I also saw Khelda, Val and Chris, very briefly. Hope you had a good time guys! I was a bit fidgety in the first half, as I really wanted to see Gareth, and he certainly didn't disappoint! As others have said, he sang beautifully, he performed and danced, and his acting was superb. He knows just how to capture the audience, and they laughed at his funny bits, and applauded his singing with gusto. I had been a little bit worried that these were a different type of audience, and how would they receive him.? I needn't have worried. Gareth as usual, showed his star quality, and I'm sure there must have been some people there who were surprised to find that there is a lot more to Gareth than just being a pop singer. Not that I'm criticising that, I'm just saying that whatever he takes on, he goes on proving that his talents are never ending. We arrived at the party just before Gareth, and as we had a card and birthday present to give him, we waited just inside the door. Suzanne arrived first, and I was delighted to meet her, as Val says, she is even more beautiful close to. I said to her how amazing he had been, and she agreed! When Gareth came, everyone flung their cameras at me and asked me to take their pics with Gareth. I did, but after a while I said I hoped it would be my turn in a minute. Gareth said " Of course!" and he put his arm around me for the shot, but that is when Elaine's camera gave up the ghost, and then he had to go. I can't tell you how gutted I was, but the only compensation was I got an extra long time with Gareth's arm around me whilst she tried to get her camera to work. Elaine and Amy were lucky enough to get another shot with him later, but sadly I didn't know about that, as I was sitting with Ann because I didn't want to leave her on her own. I just wanted to add that when Gareth first arrived, I ran up to him and told him he had been fantastic. He leaned over and kissed me on the cheek, and thanked me, and I could see how happy and buoyant he was, which made me very happy, as I had been very nervous for him earlier. Also when he was lined up with Elaine and Amy for a shot, a lady from the newspaper said to me. " Why don't you get in there with them, and I'll take you too." Of course, my feet didn't touch the ground, so I was in one photo, but when we asked her later which one, she said it might not be published any way, because of the wedding being so soon. In conclusion I just want to say, that once again, Gareth has done himself, and his fans, proud. In my eyes he remains the star he was born to be! I ran Ann to the station this morning, and was pleased to hear she had got safely on her train home. Our journey back passed virtually without any hitches. It was lovely to see Andrea, Sarajane, and Maria. We left you waiting to see Gareth, guys. Hope you did. Our taxi was waiting. Andrea, I hope the pic I took of you with the Tracy Beaker man came out ok, as it was very dark in there. _________________________
  10. Well done Alicia, it's amazing how far we travel for Gareth, but he is so special! I just can't wait for tonight, so exciting!
  11. As i said befor Khelda, I'm sorry, didn't realise! Mine was a late birthday present, which I value very highly.
  12. Today I received our tickets to the after show party. It is being held at Mint Leaf from 10pm until 1pm. It is rsvp to Amy heath, so I have emailed her. Hope you have all got yours too.
  13. I wonder why the first plan shows a break in the middle of the seats, and the second one does not. We are seated in row J.
  14. In his book, Gareth said that he wouldn't want to do opera until his late thirties, so it looks like it won't happen yet. Having said that, he has a busy year we are told, so I think it's very exciting waiting to hear about his new projects.
  15. Whatever songs Gareth sings, he makes his own , with his own unique style, so I'm sure the end result will be great. It is interesting that some papers are reporting that Gareth will sing a song, and others are saying he will showcase the musical songs. I do hope he is singing more than one song.
  16. Thank you Snowdrop. I've left my comment on there. Some of the articles are saying he will sing a song, and others are saying he will showcase the songs. I know which version I prefer!
  17. Wow, how exciting this is! Gareth singing again. Maybe he took a new route to pursue his dream!
